In 1984 Esquire Magazine selected a group of Americans under the age of 40 to honor as “The Best of the New Generation: Men and Women under 40 who are changing America.” One of the few architects listed, Quigley was surprised to find himself in the company of future luminaries like Bill Gates, Thomas Friedman, Hillary Clinton, John Malkovich, Sally Ride and Steven Spielberg.
